Bank bandit threatens to have bomb

The robber is described as a bald white male, 5'7' - 5'8", 200 plus pounds and plump. He wore a black jacket, white T-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

The Houston FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the man who told tellers he had a gun and a bomb while robbing the Comerica Bank, located inside Two Shell Plaza at 777 Walker. The bank's surveillance cameras captured excellent pictures of the man during the robbery. At approximately 11:15am, the man entered the bank carrying a brown satchel bag. He threatened the tellers saying he had a gun and a bomb inside the bag. The teller gave the man some cash and he exited the bank, leaving the bag behind. HPD's bomb squad examined the bag and determined it was empty. No one was physically hurt.
