A man in Madison, Wisconsin, is being charged with disorderly conduct, after police say he slapped a female officer on the butt.
The slap flap happened during the city's downtown Halloween party over the weekend. Police spokesman Joel DeSpain says the female officer was on bike patrol.
DeSpain says the 21-year-old man also made contact with the officer's gun during the butt slap. The Capital Times reports the officer got off her bike and handcuffed the man.
Police say the young man "apologized profusely" before being cited.
