More conference shuffling could keep UH from Big East

HOUSTON

There are multiple reports that the Big 12 is inviting West Virginia into the fold to replace Missouri when Missouri goes to the SEC. And if the Big East loses West Virginia, it's another big blow. The Big East has already lost Pittsburgh and Syracuse, and TCU changed its mind and is going to the Big 12.

The Big East is courting Boise State, Navy and Air Force and without West Virginia, and if Boise State goes elsewhere, chances aren't good at all of the Big East getting an automatic BCS bid, which was the big attraction to start with for the schools who are thinking about joining.
