Officers say one man was shot inside his truck on Berry and the Hardy Toll Road at around 8:40pm Sunday.
Houston police say the victim had a argument with two unknown Hispanic males in a vacant lot at 8600 East Hardy. They say the argument led to gunfire and the victim was shot. According to police, the suspects fled in an unknown direction.
The victim, Jesus Enrique Hoffman, 38, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
There is no known motive for the shooting. Detectives are interviewing several witnesses.
