The Wildlife Rehabilitation … Education Center released eight brown pelicans into the wild.
The center says four of the birds were impacted by Tropical Storm Lee in Mississippi.
Local residents say they enjoy watching the birds from the Kemah Boardwalk and wanted to see the pelicans get back to their natural habitat.
