Person of interest sought in man's fatal shooting

Authorities are asking for the public's assistance in locating a person of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man at a southwest Houston apartment.

Freddie Clark, Jr., is wanted for questioning in this incident. Clark, 28, is also wanted on a parole violation out of Harris County.

Police say HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the Crescent Park Apartments at 11755 Southlake Drive at around Thursday and found the victim deceased in the living room of his apartment. According to Houston police, further investigation and witness statements identified Clark as a person of interest in this case.

The 47-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound to the torso and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
