Missing man found safe at hospital

Chester Ray Brown, 56, suffers from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Brown is a black male, 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing a purple shirt and khaki shorts.

A man who walked away from a group home in the Mission Bend area early Tuesday morning has been found safe.

According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, at 5am staff members of a group home in the 15300 block of Riverside Grove in the Mission Bend area discovered Chester Ray Brown, 56, was not in the facility. He was found safe and in good physical condition at the VA Hospital in Houston Tuesday afternoon.

Brown is a resident of Helping Hands Group Home and had been last seen by the group home owner at the facility at 10pm Monday. He suffers from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
