Nicholas Luke Threlkeld, 19, is charged with three counts of possession of child pornography. Court documents state that Harris Co. Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation on a peer-to-peer file sharing network in September and identified a user at an IP address registered to a home on Territory Lane in northwest Harris County.
Investigators interviewed Threlkeld on October 11, court documents show, and they say Threlkeld confessed to using file sharing networks to seek out images and videos of child porn.
A search warrant was executed at the residence and deputies say they found approximately 2,000 images of child porn on Threlkeld's computer.
Bond has been set at $30,000.
