It happened Sunday morning in the 5900 block of Glenmont Dr. at Renwick Dr.
Police said two people were shot. One person died at the scene and the second person was transported to an area hospital.
The second shooting victim is expected to survive, police said.
Details surrounding the shooting were not immediately released. HPD Homicide is investigating.
