Man, three women sought in robbery and shooting

HOUSTON

Authorities were called to the shooting scene in the 4000 block of Westermill near Crested Green around 4:30am Sunday.

According to investigators, the victim and his 31-year-old brother had gone to a nightclub off Highway 6 where they met three women.

The brothers took the women back to their house. One of them asked one of the women to step outside with him, deputies said.

When they were outside, an unknown male suspect approached and put a gun to the back of the man's head and forced him back inside.

Officials said the suspects robbed the brothers and got away with their cell phones and wallets.

At some point during the robbery, the male suspect shot the 26-year-old victim. It is unclear how many times he was hit.

HCSO investigators said the suspect fled with the three women in a car -- possibly a Chevrolet Malibu. That's when the shooting victim's brother was able to run and call 9-1-1.

The 26-year-old was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in serious condition.

Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
