A Webster man is accused of inappropriately touching a young girl at a public swimming pool.

Raul Sosa, 64, is charged with indecency with a child. According to court documents, a 12-year-old girl told Webster police that on August 6 she was in the shallow end of a public swimming pool of an apartment complex on W. NASA Parkway when Sosa deliberately and inappropriately touched and grabbed her.

The girl says she knows Sosa as a resident who she would occasionally see with his grandchild around the complex.

Court documents state the girl got out of the pool and ran away to tell her family, who confronted Sosa. He allegedly told them he did not speak English and walked back to his apartment.

When police knocked on Sosa's door, they say he was still wet and admitted to being in the pool next to the girl.

No bond has been set for Sosa.
