It happened at Breckenridge Apartments in the 500 block of Seminar Dr. at Imperial Valley Dr.
Rosendo Chajal Riquiac, 30, lived in the apartment complex.
Neighbors heard several gunshots around 6:30am. Soon after, Riquiac's body was discovered.
He had been shot multiple times. He was found lying near the main gate of the apartments.
Officials said Riquiac's family reported that his pickup truck had been stolen. The truck was found later on Sunday.
