Three sought in deadly crime spree

HOUSTON One suspect is described as a black male in his late teens to early 20s, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with an average build. He has long dreadlocks with blond ends. A composite sketch of this suspect has been released.

Another suspect is described only as a light-skinned black male. A third suspect is described only as a black male.

The incidents occurred at the following locations:

  • August 5 - 2424 Winrock - 7:34am
  • August 8 - 7514 South Gessner - 9:05pm
  • August 9 - 10210 Forum West Drive - 9am

In all three incidents, the victims were confronted by the suspects, who then shot them several times.

In the South Gessner incident, Alex Dewayne Wallace, 29, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

In the incident on Forum West Drive, Cameron Dansby, 23, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene.

In the incident on Winrock, the suspects entered an apartment and shot two of the occupants. The two male occupants survived their wounds.

The motive in all three cases appears to be robbery. Anyone with information in these cases or on the identities of the wanted suspects is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
