The driver of a Hummer was traveling on Westheimer near Mid Lane when for some reason turned and started driving down the tracks. The driver crashed into some crossing arms and a pole. It caused all of the warning lights to malfunction. Police arrested the driver.
Railroad officials stationed a flagman at the crossing until they can get everything repaired. The crash also delayed train traffic.
