A grass fire broke out near a school in west Houston on Monday afternoon.

SkyEye 13 HD flew over the scene after several people called 9-1-1 when they saw the smoke and flames in a field on Hammerly near Brittmoore at around 3:40pm. The fire department says 60 firefighters battled the flames and they've asked for two bulldozers to contain the fire.

The Parish School is across the street, but firefighters say the flames haven't spread to any structures.

No cause has been determined. We're told there are no reports of injuries.
