Driver wanted in hit-and-run of elderly woman

Beverly Santos Terry was walking across the Highway 59 northbound service road in the 12300 block on July 26 when she was struck by a blue-colored pickup truck.

Authorities are seeking the public's assistance with any information on a driver wanted for running over a woman and almost killing her.

On July 26 shortly before 6pm, Beverly Santos Terry was walking across the Highway 59 northbound service road in the 12300 block when she was struck by a blue-colored pickup truck. After striking Santos, the pickup continued to travel northbound on the service road and failed to stop and render aid.

Santos was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

A witness at the scene of the crash described the vehicle as a blue pickup truck with a Hispanic male driver.
