Houston bans panhandlers from restaurant patios

It's now against the law for panhandlers to come up to you and ask for money when you're dining outside in Houston.

City Council passed an ordinance on Wednesday that bans panhandling within 8 feet of an outdoor restaurant patio.

The city already has an ordinance against aggressive panhandling outside ATMs, gas pumps and transit facilities.
