HOUSTON --Authorities are seeking the public's assistance with any information about a man's murder back in 2006. On November 17, 2006, at approximately 7:15pm, Kareem Mathews was killed inside his residence. Before the murder occurred, authorities say a small white car occupied by three black male suspects pulled into the driveway at Mathews residence. Two of the male suspects went inside with Mathews. According to authorities, an altercation developed between Mathews and the two males. Several shots were fired. Mathews was shot and collapsed in the hallway of his residence where he was later pronounced dead. The two male suspects fled the scene in the small white car that was driven by the third male suspect.
