A man is accused of fatally shooting a store clerk in northwest Harris County. Albert Lynch, 24, has been charged with murder for the May killing of 20-year-old Salvador Maya.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office says on May 16 about 3:50am, Lynch entered a convenience store located in the 15300 block of Ella Blvd. Lynch wore a ski mask, dark blue coveralls and gloves. Lynch confronted the clerk, Maya, and shot him to death, according to investigators.

Lynch took an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing on foot. The crime was caught on surveillance camera video.
