HOUSTON --Jury selection got underway Monday in the case of a man accused of running over and killing the owner of a convenience store while robbing that store. Curtis Robinson is charged with murder in the death of Abo Abdel-Salaam. Investigators say Robinson was caught stealing a package of shirts worth just $6, and he ran over Abdel-Salaam while trying to get away. Robinson was arrested shortly after eyewitnesses gave police a description of the vehicle. Albert Hall, who police say was with Robinson at the time, is charged with assault.
