HOUSTON --Detectives need help identifying two men who tried to rob a gas station in north Houston one early Sunday in May. The incident happened around 6am on May 8 at a gas station in the 5000 block of North Shepherd as two employees were working, according to Crime Stoppers. Two young suspects masking their faces entered through the front door, with one standing near the front to act as a lookout. The other suspected pulled out a gun and demanded cash from the register, but both employees refused to hand over any money. The suspect then ran out of the store when a customer pulled into the parking lot, and the suspects took off in a blue SUV. Both suspects are described as black males between the ages of 16 and 18. One is between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8 tall, weighing around 145 pounds. The other was described only as being about 5-foot-5.
