Woman found in stolen truck faces charges

RICHMOND, TX According to Richmond police, a white Toyota pickup was parked with its lights on in the 1100 block of Lydia. The officer noticed the lights of the vehicle going off, but no one got out of the vehicle.

A check of the license plate revealed the truck had been reported stolen during an aggravated robbery in Houston.

The officer says there was a woman in the vehicle, who has been identified as Jessica Nicole Mitchell, 23, of Houston. He said she was also found to be in possession of crack cocaine and marijuana.

Mitchell was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and possession of marijuana. She was transported to the Fort Bend County Jail for holding until a bond amount is set.

The details of the aggravated robbery case from Houston are not known at this time.
