Sugar Land police are looking for a man who assaulted an elderly couple inside their townhome on River Creek Way.

On June 10 at around 9:42pm, police say a man ran inside a townhome through an open garage door and an open back door, hit a 75-year-old man and his 66-year-old wife with a wooden object and left though the same unlocked doors.

The suspect did not speak and made no attempt to steal anything in the townhome, police say. The couple's injuries were minor and both declined medical attention at the scene.

The suspect was described as a white, Hispanic or Arab man in his late 20's with a goatee. He was 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 185 pounds. He was wearing black shorts and a black t-shirt.
