Sr. Cpl. Sherri Jeffrey says Gary Ray Gribble died early Wednesday.
Responding officers suspect the fall was accidental. Police provided no other immediate details on what they believe Gribble had been doing before he fell about 30 feet from a parking garage next to the W Hotel. He was declared dead at a hospital.
A message left Wednesday for management at the W Hotel was not immediately returned to The Associated Press.
