Hundreds of local children ages 9 to 14 will compete in track and field events for a chance to be among the 480 athletes who qualify to compete at the North American Final in Hershey, Pa., on August 6.
The event provides an entry point to sport and recreation through running, jumping and throwing. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the Hershey Center for Health and Nutrition are teaming up to teach event participants and Chicago residents a new and fun way to work out -- the Moderation Nation Batuka Dance.
