Thieves targeted a fire station in southeast Houston yesterday, while the firefighters were busy fighting wildfires. Some Houston firefighters who battled a grass and forest fire all day yesterday returned to their station only to find more problems. Houston fire station 25 located at Scott and Rosewood was broken into last night.

When firefighters arrived back to the station, they noticed a truck had been broken into in the parking lot and a lot of personal items were missing, such as iPods, cell phones, iPads and other personal belongings. They think it happened sometime between 5pm and 7pm yesterday.

So far, authorities say they have not found any witnesses to the crime. If you have any information you are being asked to call authorities.
