A variety of volunteer opportunities are available, and signing up has never been easier.
All a volunteer needs to do is visit the Houston Service website and click the "Apply" button on the left.
Volunteers will get into the event for free. Those working a full-day shift will also have special perks and will be entered for a chance to win a grand prize drawing.
Plus, volunteers will get a first-class view of one of the only major fireworks displays in all of Texas this year at Eleanor Tinsley Park.
