Former teacher charged with sex assault of student

HOUSTON

Anne Lynn Montgomery is charged with sexual assault of a child under 17 and improper relationship with a student. According to court documents, the first sexual encounter happened in August 2007 when Montgomery was the color guard instructor at Sharpstown High School and Bradman Moore was a 16-year-old freshman enrolled in the marching band. Moore stated they had sex in the backseat of Montgomery's vehicle as they were parked in the parking lot of his mother's apartment complex.

The following year, Montgomery gave birth to a girl. A paternity test confirmed Moore is the father.

The second sexual encounter occurred in January 2009 at a residence while Moore was an 18-year-old student at Bellaire High School and Montgomery was his dance instructor, court documents state. Montgomery gave birth to another daughter later that year and a paternity test confirmed Moore is the father.

Montgomery, 35, quit her teaching job at Bellaire a few days after the alleged January 2009 incident.

She filed for a protective order against Moore in April of this year which lead to the police investigation.

Her bond is set at a total of $60,000 for the charges.
