Body identified of drowning victim in Sugar Land lake

Preliminary autopsy results show Prince Guillermo Ramirez, 22, drowned.

We have an update to a story we first told you about on Friday.

Sugar Land police have identified the body of a young man found in a lake. The body of Prince Guillermo Ramirez was found Friday at 6:15pm in a lake near the intersection of Creekbend Drive and Prudential Circle. A woman walking near the Creekbend Condominiums in the Lake Pointe Subdivision saw the body and called police.

Preliminary autopsy results show Ramirez, 22, drowned. Officers say there aren't any signs of foul play but the investigation continues.

Police believe Ramirez lived somewhere in Houston. Anyone with any information concerning Ramirez's death is urged to contact the Sugar Land Police Department at 281-275-2540.
