Police were called out to a home in northwest Houston after a 21-year-old man was found unresponsive at the bottom of the pool. The call came in around 3:30am Sunday from a home on Bauer near Hammerly.

Police say there was a large pool party at the house when someone noticed the man at the bottom of the pool. Witnesses immediately pulled him out of the water and started performing CPR.

There is no word on how he ended up at the bottom of the pool. No one at the party claimed to know who he was, and the people he arrived with had already left the party.

The man was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital and pronounced dead.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences identified the victim as Chet Alexander.
