HOUSTON --A University of Houston student could easily have been killed Friday during a wild police chase. The chase ended with a crash near Robertson Stadium. Police were following a suspect in a stolen car. Investigators say he refused to stop and even tried cutting through the U of H campus. A student who was walking to a lab at the school heard the sirens, then saw the stolen car come barreling right for him. "I had to make a quick decision. I just jumped up and I saw myself on his hood and I landed on my elbow," said Jibaniya Agbu. The student rolled off the hood, had some bumps and bruises, but was otherwise OK. Police managed to pin the suspect in and take him into custody shortly after.
