Troopers escort geese family off freeway

SEATTLE, WA State troopers in three cruisers escorted the flock to an off-ramp after motorists became concerned about the geese's safety during the Wednesday morning rush hour.

Washington State Patrol spokeswoman trooper Julie Startup says it took troopers about 20 minutes "to get the little guys cleared."

She says a couple of lanes were shut down while the geese found an exit.

State Department of Transportation traffic cameras captured the family running along the shoulder of I-90, flanked by troopers following slowly behind.
