HOUSTON --Authorities are seeking the public's help to identify a suspect wanted for forgery and making fraudulent purchases with forged checks. The 59-year-old female victim was checking her bank account and realized there were several unauthorized purchases made from her checking account, according to a Crime Stoppers release. In early April 2011, a black female suspect made several unauthorized purchases at numerous clothing and food stores with forged checks belonging to the victim. The suspect made more than $1,300 worth of unauthorized purchases. The suspect is described as a black female, 25-35 years of age, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, with a medium build. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 tips hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the identification, charging or arrest of the suspect in this case.
