About 10,000 stranded at DFW Airport after storms

DALLAS, TX Airport spokesman David Magana says flight operations were returning to normal Wednesday. Carriers examined aircraft for possible damage from golf ball-size hail.

Magana says about 90 flights were canceled Wednesday, after about 200 departures were canceled Tuesday night. He says cots were made available to passengers who flights were canceled or diverted.

Concession areas also stayed open throughout the night.

Jose Torres, a spokesman for Dallas Love Field, told The Associated Press that flight operations were suspended for about two hours Tuesday night. Operations were returning to normal Wednesday.

Southwest Airlines spokesman Brad Hawkins says eight planes in Dallas suffered hail damage, which could lead to flight delays or cancellations.
