Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a person of interest in the fatal stabbing of a Houston woman last month.

Mario Alberto Garcia-Trejo, 29, is wanted for questioning in the death of his girlfriend -- Estrella Hernandez Flores, 36, also known as Nelly.

He is not charged in the incident.

According to Houston Police Department, Flores was attacked around 11:45pm April 17 at Broadway Park Apartments in the 2500 block of Broadway. She suffered multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital.

Investigators want to speak with Garcia-Trejo about this case.

They are also looking for Garcia-Trejo's car -- a 2002 Gray Ford Escape with unknown license plate. It is believed to have been sold to an unknown individual by a person known only as Cachis.

Anyone with information on where Garcia-Trejo or his car may be is urged to contact the HPD homicide division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
