Investigators said an argument erupted between two men, and then one stabbed the other.
The victim was transported by Channelview EMS to LBJ Hospital, then was moved to Hermann Hospital in critical but stable condition, officials said.
The suspect is described as a white man, about 5 feet 7 or 8 inches tall and 140-150 pounds.
