The Houston Aeros are going to have to play one more game in order to make the Calder Cup championships. Last night was Game 6 of the western conference finals over at Toyota Center and what a game it was. The Aeros would strike first and then trade goals with the Hamilton Bulldogs. Then late in the second and again early in the third, the Dogs got easy opportunities to build a two-goal lead.

But the Aeros wouldn't give up and forced not one, but two overtime periods.

But despite outshooting Hamilton 61-38, the Aeros lose 5-4 after a turnover led to the game winning shot.

Game 7 will be tomorrow night at Toyota Center. Win, and the Aeros will face the binghamton Senators in the Calder Cup Finals.
