Sex assault suspect accused of giving teen HIV, STDs

HOUSTON

Kelton Tyson was arrested at an apartment complex in the 9200 block of Pagewood in west Houston.

Tyson is charged with two counts of sexual abuse of a child. He is accused of raping a 16-year-old boy several times between October 2009 and 2010 when they lived at the same apartment complex.

Detectives say Tyson passed onto the teen HIV and other STDs.

Authorities were able to arrest him after they used his ex-wife to lure him to her home.

No other details were immediately available.
