Firefighters battling grass fire in Cy-Fair area

HOUSTON Authorities said the blaze started around 3:15pm Sunday in an undeveloped portion of the Stablewood subdivision off Colt Springs Lane.

Cy-Fair, Rose Hill and Spring Cypress Volunteer Fire Departments are all on scene, using bulldozers and water to try to extinguish the flames.

According to officials, no homes are in immediate danger. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
