Three suspects were impersonating police officers while trying to commit a home invasion, investigators said.
When HPD arrived, the suspects ran. While fleeing, one fired at the HPD officers.
No one was hit, police said.
HPD caught up with the suspects. Three Latino men were taken into custody. Their names and information on charges filed against them were not available Sunday.
