Teens accused of killing woman for sports car

CAMERON, TX Capital murder charges have been filed against 18-year-old Tanner Aaron Baker and 19-year-old Brandon Charles Cotton.

Bond has been denied for the Rockdale-area men, who were held Wednesday in the Milam (MYL'-um) County Jail. A jail supervisor had no listing of attorneys for the suspects, who are charged in Monday's fatal shooting of 50-year-old Sandra Phillips at her home near Rockdale.

Sheriff David Greene says the suspects apparently wanted the victim's sports car, a white Ford Mustang. Investigators say Baker was arrested, hours after the shooting, while driving the vehicle. Cotton was caught later at a convenience store.
