LEAGUE CITY, TX --
Crews are investigating the death of a person found in a vehicle at a park in the League City area. At about 11:15am, League City police received a call of a suspicious vehicle in Walter Hall Park along Highway 3. The caller told police a person was sitting in the passenger seat with a bag over their head. The vehicle had notes posted on the windows that stated "Danger," "Hydrogen Sulfide," and "Poison."
Officers and fire personnel responded to the scene and immediately evacuated and closed the park. Fire personnel in rescue breathers approached the vehicle and confirmed that there was a body inside. The cause of death is unclear at this time.
Buckets and several household chemicals could be seen in the vehicle. A Houston HazMat team has been called to assist in the investigation.
