The biker was southbound on S. Wayside and officials said his view was obscured by shrubbery. By the time he saw the oncoming truck, it was too late to avoid the collision.
The man and the motorcycle both slid into the truck. The biker ended up beneath the truck, officials said, and was severely cut by the vehicle's undercarriage.
Authorities said a passerby tried to help stop the bleeding until emergency personnel arrived.
Officials took the man to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to investigators at the scene, the truck driver's view of the intersection was also obscured by shrubs.
