Upper Kirby residents file suit to halt construction of bars

HOUSTON

We first told you about this conflict last month.

Neighbors in the Crockett addition, near Kirby and Westheimer, believe as many as five clubs are in the works for that intersection.

Those who live there say the clubs would overcrowd their streets with traffic, bring down their property values and violate deed restrictions which prohibit alcohol sales.

The residents have now filed a lawsuit to stop the development. The developer has not returned our calls for a comment.
