Homeless man charged with murder in fatal stabbing

HOUSTON The attack happened in the 5300 block of West Alabama at about 6:15am on March 21. According to Houston police, Jim Andrew Lee, 58, was working as a security guard for an office building and parking garage when he got into an altercation with Antone Richie, 53. Richie, who is believed to be homeless, was apparently digging through a dumpster at the office building. Police say at some point during the altercation Richie pulled a knife and stabbed Lee several times.

Lee was taken from his home to Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital on March 22. Doctors pronounced him dead on March 26.
