HOUSTON --Some of the buses used to carry travelers at Bush Intercontinental Airport are getting more environmentally friendly. The compressed natural gas powered buses will be used in an economy parking lot at the big airport. Clean Energy and Apache Corporation will build a special fueling station for the buses. It's part of the city's green initiative. Mayor Annise Parker says it makes perfect sense to use the greener buses at the airport.
Mayor Parker said the greener buses will also save on maintenance costs.
