HOUSTON
The actual impact of the state's budget shortfall will not be known until the Legislature adopts a state budget, which is not expected until this summer.
Meanwhile, the district must proceed with planning the district budget for next school year with the presumption that it may have to be adjusted after the state adopts its budget.

The Budget Town Hall meetings will present an overview of all the issues under consideration, and provide an opportunity to address citizen comments and questions.
