The father jumped in his car and followed the suspects when they left the home. Deputies say the father would not let the suspects escape.
Lt. Jeff Stauber with the Harris County Sheriff's Office said, "Once they got here to West Road he actually rammed their vehicle trying to get them to stop."
Deputies believe the suspects shot at the father after the crash. The father returned fire. Deputies do not know if anyone was hit.
The suspects fled the scene. Deputies brought out tracking dogs and managed to capture one robbery suspect.
