Armed robber hits Dickinson bank

DICKINSON, TX

A man entered the Texas First Bank shortly after it opened at 9am and robbed the bank, according to a Dickinson Police Department statement. The man displayed a handgun during the crime and took off with an undetermined amount of cash.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a heavy-set white man who appears to be in his 40's and is approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall. He was wearing glasses and fled in a newer model black Dodge Avenger four-door with tinted windows.

Detectives say the suspect also fits the description of a robber who targeted a southeast Houston bank in the 1000 block of Bay Area Boulevard on Tuesday.
