The Odessa American reports police were called to a home where a child was reported in cardiac arrest.
Cpl. Sherrie Carruth says the boy was declared dead at a hospital. Carruth says investigators believe the boy had suffered multiple injuries over a length of time. An autopsy has been ordered.
